The results of your treatment can take up to 14 days to take full effect. Usually, patients notice a change in 4-5 days. It takes time for the muscles to lose strength and the lines to fade following ant-wrinkle treatment. Please wait until 14 days have passed before assessing if you are pleased with the results.
Do not touch or rub injected site for 2-4 hours following treatment. Avoid exercise and sweating for the remainder of the day and no lying down or leaning forward for 2-4 hours after treatment.
There can be a slight chance of bruising at the treated site, and this is temporary. Be assured that any tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours of treatment.
Avoid any type of facial, microdermabrasion, or massage for 14 days after treatment.
Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin. Paracetamol is acceptable to take if experiencing discomfort (if not contraindicated).
Anti-wrinkle is a temporary procedure, and at first, you may find that your treatment results will last approximately 3 months. If you maintain your treatment appointments regularly recommended by your clinician, the duration of each treatment results may last longer than 4 months.
And most importantly, remember to apply sunscreen daily.
The majority of reactions to dermal fillers are redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness after the injections. These usually subside a few days after the treatment, but can last up to a week. If any of these symptoms persist longer than a week you need to call us immediately.
Cold compresses may be used after the treatment to reduce swelling and decrease soreness. You may take paracetamol (if not contraindicated) every 4-6 hours after the treatment to help with any discomfort you may have.
Avoid to wear any Make-up for the next 24hrs to prevent any infection.
In the first 24 hours following treatment, limit exposure to sunlight or UV lamps. Extensive sun or heat exposure and alcoholic beverages may cause a temporary increase in redness, bruising or swelling at the injection sites.
Patients should avoid strenuous exercise for 24hours to prevent moving the filler or increasing blood flow to the face.
Avoid excessive touching or massaging the treated areas for about 6 hours after the injections.
Avoid dental procedure (including cleaning) 2 weeks post filler.
You are likely to experience swelling and bruising for the first day or two after the PDO Threads. You can resume your day-to-day activities almost immediately after the treatment.
Do not rub or massage your face for the first week after the treatment as it comes at the risk of dislodging any face threads.
Do not smoke or drink alcohol for at least a week after the procedure, as it can lead to bruising.
Sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your sides for two weeks after the treatment.
Do not exercise; use hot tubs and saunas for at least a week after Threads. Avoid strenuous contact sports for 3 weeks afterwards.
Eat soft, easy to chew foods for at least the first week after the treatment.
You cannot have dental work for at least FOUR weeks after the surgery.
No facials or face massage for around 3 weeks.
No laser/ heat treatments around the treated area for 3 months.
Immediately after your treatment with a PRP, there may be a slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection and generally disappears in a couple of days. The swelling after an eye treatment may last longer.
